This Week
Reading: Students will work on finding the main ideas with supporting details. Students will also work on their collaborative talk with their groups.
Writing: Students will begin drafting their chapters for their nonfiction topic. They will take all their facts and sort them into chapters and organize information within each chapter. In each chapter they will be expected to include at least 5 facts and multiple text features.
Math: We will work on all types of word problems. Students will also review measurement and complete measurement word problems.
Science: We will begin our matter unit. Students will discuss the differences between solids and liquids.

Monday to Wednesday- Your child is expected to read 30 minutes daily and write in his/her agenda the time he/she spent reading and the name of the book read as well. Your child can read the books inside the ziploc bag or books in Raz Kids platform.
IXL Thursday- Students are expected to spend at least 20 minutes on IXL. Your child's log in information will be placed in the front of his/her white folder.

Reading- Every Monday your child will choose two level books and one fun book to read through the week. He/she will placed them inside their Spanish books' ziploc bag and bring them back on Thursday.

One day I decided to move abroad to teach my culture and my mother tongue to a group of smart and lovely children like yours and here I am!
