Our specials schedule will be on a 12 day rotation. Our class will be split up for specials. You will find your child's rotation in the front of their agenda.

Mrs. Parry - Mystery ReaderCome be a Mystery Reader in Mrs. Parry's class! If you sign up to be a Mystery Reader, PLEASE DO NOT TELL YOUR CHILD YOU'RE COMING! It's alway such a fun surprise for the kids! It's great to bring a book from home, but if you are struggling to find one, let Mrs. Parry know so that she can provide it. Arrive at the classroom at 12:30pm.

We will not have required homework during the week. If you would like your child to complete homework they can choose from the list of options below.

1. IXL - They can complete diagnostic, recommendations, or choose different topics to practice

2. Reading log- This will not be checked but students can still practice their comprehension questions in their reading journal.

3. myon- Students can go on and choose books to read.

4. Practice reading just right books from their reader bag.

5. xtramath.org - Students can access this by going to student start up page, go to clever, go to my class page and it is linked there.

6. zearn.org - I will get student username and passwords to them shortly. This is a math website.

Update your information for PTO!

Mrs. Parry - Lunch MonitorCome help provide Duty Free Lunch for Mrs. Parry! This gives her a chance to enjoy her lunch in peace and quiet and actually eat her meal or get work done! Please meet the students at the cafteria at 11:50am. Help them get through the lunch line if they are buying their lunch, help them open things they need help with, and keep them quiet and well-behaved (especially during the silent lunch times as listed on the TVs). At about 12:15pm get the kids to start taking back lunch trays, throwing trash away and lining up against the wall. The students that are assigned helpers will know who they and their responsiblity (wipe tables, sweepers, etc.) Note their lunch time is from 11:52am - 12:18pm and they share same time/table with Mrs. Satterfield's class.
