A design journal, is a digital notebook where students can brainstorm ideas and share personal reflections, similar to a personal journal or diary.

Students, you will be prompted to update you design journals throughout their Scratch programming adventures, however you can add to your journals anytime during the process of designing projects to capture ideas, inspiration, notes, sketches, questions, frustrations, triumphs, etc.

Look through sample design journal here.

Your design journal will be a page on the Webpage you design for the course.

For the content of your first journal entry answer the following questions:

    1. How would you describe Scratch to a friend?

    2. Write or sketch ideas for three different Scratch projects you are interested in creating.!Share your design journals and initial reflections with a neighbor.

    3. Include notes, feedback, and suggestion from the critique group in the previous session.
