Day 1

OK lets start!

Your first task will be to create a website to keep track of your progress during the course.

Instead of telling you how to go about doing this step by step we will give you some general guide lines and let you use all resources (the Internet and your friends) to complete the task.

The first thing you need is a google email account (gmail.com). If you do not have one sign up for one now.

Students will do the following:

1. Log into your gmail account.

2. Click on the square of boxes on the right of your name and then click on Sites.

3. Create a site that looks similar to this one (name it Your Name Your School): https://sites.google.com/a/ub.edu.bz/sample-student-site/

4. You can copy and paste the tables to save time.

5. Use the first 30 min of class to make the best site possible.

6. When you have finished compare your site with your classmates sites and grade yourselves using the Grade Sheet in your Site!

7. Write in you journal about the difficulty of the task and how you overcame went about completing the site without the help of the teacher.
