For all learners: We hope you will talk to each of your preceptors at the beginning of a clinic to talk about what you would like to get out of the day (ex: I would like feedback on my neurological exam; I would like feedback on my history taking; I would like to try to do full assessment and receive feedback.").
Resident EPAs (Entrustable Professional Activities) are completed through CBME. Either residents or supervisors can initiate an observation for EPA assessment through https://cbme.med.ualberta.ca.

NOTE: It is also useful to talk at the beginning of the clinic with your preceptor about who will be responsible for the write-up of the clinic report/letter.
You are asked to collect EPAs (entrustable professional activities) for the clinic s you attend, through CBME (Competence Based Medical Education). Please send a relevant EPA to your preceptor PRIOR to the start of clinic, so it can be completed during the clinic. Alternatively, your supervisors can initiate an observation for EPA assessment through https://cbme.med.ualberta.ca

You are asked to collect daily feedback for each clinic you attend. Please provide this link to your preceptors at the start of clinic so the google form can be completed during the clinic. All of the forms will be collated and reviewed by your rotation elective preceptor prior to the completion of your elective.
Reminder from the PGME level:
*A rotation is considered "incomplete" when the trainee is absent for more than 25% of the rotation. Absences are those other than the ones related to program requirements, e.g., call, academic half-day, OSCE's etc.
