All residents are expected to review the Royal College objectives and the Program rotation-specific objectives
All residents are expected to take night and weekend call in accordance with PARA guidelines. You are expected to answer your pages promptly. The chief resident creates the call schedule which will be distributed no later than one week prior to each block to all residents
All residents are expected to review the University of Alberta policies
All residents are expected to have already achieved their qualification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Regular presentation at ID Rounds, Journal Club, and SSR Sessions
Attendance at the following meetings:
Antimicrobial Utilization Committee Meetings – at least 2X/year
Infection Control Bi-Weekly Meetings – at least 6x while on Infection Control month
U of A Hospital Infection Control Committee Meeting – at least 2X/year
