This is the Western GI Exam and is a preparatory exam for your Royal College GI Exam to test your knowledge. GI Residency Programs in Western Canada take turns hosting this exam which is held each academic year.
Each academic year you will have two OSCEs, one in December and one in June. They are in the format of the Royal College GI exam and are meant to be formative.
These are formative tests that are meant to help you determine your level of knowledge in various areas of GI both before and after those topics are covered in academic half day. Typically, you do 2-3 pre and post tests per academic year.
