International Applicants

The Adult Neurology Program at the University of Alberta is pleased to offer the following International positions up to a maximum of:

• 1 International Medical Graduate position (via the AIMG program)
• 1-2 Visa funded positions (via the appropriate National Bureau)

All international applicants are strongly encouraged to do a formal observership within the division to allow applicants to familiarize themselves with the program. Observerships are organized through an application process detailed here.

NOTE: As of January 1, 2018, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta will no longer accept the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) as satisfying the English language proficiency requirements for registration in Alberta.

We will only accept IELTS with the current required scores of a minimum of 7.0 in each of the four domains achieved within 24 months prior to registration.
