23rd November to 27th November
The first Cooper School T&L week began, with a focus on an open classroom policy. Teachers opted in to have their classrooms being walked in to by any number of teachers, to see best practice. This was a great opportunity to be able to see how the rest of the school works, in a non-judgmental fashion. In addition it prompted a number of conversations about Teaching and Learning across the school and across departments.
In addition, T&L week saw a T&L focus on a range of students, sharing the good work in the PASS intervention on Monday briefing, had a view from the NQTs on Weds briefing. It culminated in the launch of the T&L blog to staff.
