A huge thanks to Bethan for her brilliant demonstration of Google Earth and ideas about how it could be adapted in other subjects! It's so nice to have the opportunity to see some of the great things that are going on in other people's classrooms around the school.
These are a couple of links I've found useful when getting to grips with Google Earth and I'm sure Bethan will send round her stuff as well.

IT have mentioned that Google Earth can use lots of resources to run so it's best to have it as the only program running on your laptop eg closing Bromcom etc.
If you've done something that has worked well (or gone horrifically wrong) in your classroom and think others might find it interesting to hear about please drop myself or Sam an e-mail and we'll book you a slot.
