Kim Simpson, Montessori Diploma and Diploma in Psychology
Kim established the highly popular Studio Montessori Nursery Centre 40 years ago. She gives talks on Montessori Education and Transpersonal Psychology, as well as publishing articles in various journals and press interviews. She received the prestigious 'Montessorian of the Year' Award for 2007. Kim also mentors students who train with Montessori Colleges, especially with Montessori Centre International, who choose to do their Teaching Practice at the Studio
Kim has a private Counselling practice in Kew with a special focus on personal and spiritual development. She also offers Parent Coaching.
Kim is a member of the Steering Group of the OpenEYE Campaign, Early Childhood Action and Founding Director of the Save Childhood Movement, launched in 2013 www.savechildhood.net This Movement is responsible for initiating and developing 'The National Children's Day' from 2013. She also wrote a chapter in the best-selling educational book 'Too Much Too Soon' on Amazon.
