Cross-National LGBT Psychological Wellbeing Study (UK)

Do you identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT), are aged 18+ and currently live in the UK?

Researchers from the University of Glasgow, in collaboration with colleagues in Belgium and The Netherlands,  are conducting an anonymous online survey aiming to find out more about psychological wellbeing in LGBT individuals.

LGBT individuals have been identified as being at higher risk of experiencing poor mental health, including suicidal ideation, than people who are not LGBT. Despite the fact that the LGBT community has been consistently identified as an ‘at risk’ group, there is very little research in this area.

If you identify as LGBT and would like to take part, or just find out more information, please click the link: www.surveymonkey.com/r/LGBT_CN

There is the option of being entered into a prize draw to win a £25 Amazon or iTunes gift voucher as a ‘thank you’ for your participation.

We do not provide a treatment service or advice for those in crisis. If you are in crisis or feeling suicidal we urge you to seek help from your GP, a key worker, or family and friends. You can also contact helpline services such as Samaritans (116 123) or, if you are in Scotland, Breathing Space (0800 83 85 87).
