Running Backs: Ron Litchfield

Ron Litchfield completed his third season as assistant football coach, in charge of the running backs, at Pleasant Valley High School. Litchfield is also a special education teacher at PVHS. Litchfield has extensive coaching experience in both Illinois and Missouri. For four seasons Litchfield was the head football coach at United Township High School in East Moline, IL. Prior to that he was the head football coach at Park Hill South High School in Riverside, MO for eight seasons. Leading up to being a head coach, Litchfield was an assistant football coach at four Missouri High Schools (Blue Springs, Lee's Summit, Fort Osage and Liberty).

Litchfield is a 1991 graduate of Baker University in Baldwin City, KS. While at Baker Litchfield was a part of a football program that reached the NAIA semi-finals in three of his four years at the school. Leading up to his successful college career Litchfield was a 1987 graduate of Harrisonville High School in Harrisonville, MO. Litchfield also has a masters degree from Central Missouri University in Special Education.

Litchfield and his wife, Stacy, have two daughters, Maya (PV class of 2016) and Ella (PV class of 2021).
