Don’t miss the deadlines noted in your compensation email from Harjeet Heer.
Don’t log more than 8 hours in any given day, unless you are working a retreat weekend. The system will automatically calculate that you are owed overtime if you log more than 8 hours in one day. Retreat Saturday should show 4 OT hours.
Factor in a break if you work more than 4 hours. For those working a retreat weekend, please log three 4 hour increments on retreat Saturday. This involves using the "plus" sign to insert a new row on Saturday.
Visit Stanford Axess to manage your pay and timecards.
The Teaching and Learning Hub will sponsor your SUNet ID for the quarter(s) you are actively working as a facilitator and/or reading coach. This is the username you will use to login to Canvas and Axess.
You will receive an email notification when your sponsorship is activated. Please note that the associated Stanford email address will not be activated. Be sure to add a secondary email in Canvas to ensure you receive notifications. Instructions for changing your default address can be found under Canvas Resources.
If you have experience as a T-group facilitator at Stanford GSB, please follow the guidelines below in describing your experience.
Following are some of the ways you can accurately represent your connection to the program. These suggestions are intended to avoid misleading descriptions that could potentially (and have) put our program in jeopardy with the Graduate School of Business:
It is OK to say that you have completed the Interpersonal Dynamics Facilitation Training Program. It is not ok to say that you have been certified to lead T-groups, since we offer no certification.
It is OK to say that you “have been a small group facilitator for the course.”
It is not OK to say that you are/have been faculty, staff, lecturer, guest faculty, adjunct professor, or teacher at the GSB (unless you have in fact been hired as such for OB374).
It is not OK to say that you “teach at the GSB,” “teach Interpersonal Dynamics,” “have delivered the course”, or are a “course instructor” at the GSB (unless you have in fact been hired as a lecturer to teach OB374).
Sorry to have to be so precise, but the well-being of our program rides on our doing so. Thanks for honoring these guidelines. If you find any of this confusing or are in need of clarification, don’t hesitate to check with any of the Interpersonal Dynamics faculty.

Building Access Card are available for pickup from CM004 (formerly N004) from 7 am - 4 pm on your first day on campus. CM004 is located in the basement level of Charlie Munger Building (see map here).
As a reminder, Building Access Cards need to be returned at the end of each quarter. Unreturned cards will result in a fee of $25, deducted from your facilitator timecard. Also, these cards may not work properly if damaged, bent or in use while in contact with other cards with magstripes (like in a wallet).
If you have a personal Stanford photo ID card, please work with Harjeet Heer to ensure building access is set by emailing Harjeet your card number.
If you have plans to drive in, you can order your parking permit online in advance of your arrival or purchase visitor parking. Please be aware that physical pay stations are no longer available, and you can purchase visitor parking through the ParkMobile app, mobile website, or QR code, or by texting PARK to 77223. A & C permits are available for online purchase. There are significant savings with purchasing an A or C parking permit vs. purchasing visitor parking.
The best deal will likely be purchasing a short term C day permit for the days you'll be on campus. If you're parking on campus more than 6 days a month, the long term monthly C permit will be a better option.
Facilitators can access on-campus Wi-Fi through the eduroam network. To connect, log in to the network with your SUNet ID and password.
Effective Monday, April 10, 2023, the university no longer requires – but continues to strongly recommend – COVID vaccinations and boosters for faculty, staff, postdoctoral scholars, and students.
Faculty, staff, and postdocs who test positive for COVID are required to self-report their health status in HealthCheck.
