Cody Jenschke has worked at FMHS since 2006 and served as the  the Head Athletic Trainer since 2013  at Flower Mound High School. Cody’s main responsibilities with the high school are to oversee the athletic training program of about 40 athletic training students. Prior to working at FMHS he worked for Creekview High School for one year. Cody attended high school in Kerrville, Texas and graduated form Texas Christian University (TCU) in 2005. While at TCU, he received his bachelor’s in athletic training and was the recipient of the Elmer Brown Scholarship. He is a nationally certified athletic trainer and licensed by the state of Texas as well. Cody currently serves as the Honors and Awards chair for the Southwest Athletic Trainer’s Association (SWATA). Cody was honored by SWATA by being named the 2015 Bobby Gunn Unsung Hero Award winner. He is also the chair for the Honors and Awards committee for the North Texas Athletic Trainers Society (NTATS). In 2012, Cody was honored to be the All-Star Athletic Trainer for the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-Star game in Round Rock, TX. Cody is married to Karen Jenschke, a counselor in Lewisville ISD. They have a two kids Landry and Chase.

Paul Dunham joined the AT staff FMHS campus as a licensed athletic trainer in 2004. He is also certified by the National Athletic Trainer’s Association since 2000 after graduating from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a bachelor’s degree in 2000 and a master’s degree in 2001. Prior to joining the sports medicine staff at Flower Mound High School, he worked in his hometown of Commerce, Texas as an athletic trainer for Hulsey Therapy Services and as an outreach athletic trainer for Dr. Jeff Wallace Orthopaedics in Rockwall, Texas.  From 2004-2013 Dunham worked for Therapy Partners of North Texas and Physical Therapy of Flower Mound providing outreach athletic training services to Coppell ISD, Carroll ISD, and FMHS. also worked as the head athletic trainer for the Texas Collegiate League’s Coppell Copperheads Baseball Team for five seasons. He is the Chief Operating Officer for the Southwest Athletic Trainer’s Association Board of Directors for athletic trainers in Texas and Arkansas.  Coach Dunham lives in Lewisville with his three children Owen, Olivia, and Jasper. The Sports Medicine One and Two courses are taught by Coach Dunham preparing ninth graders to apply for the student athletic training aide program at FMHS.  

Kelsey Potts, MS, LAT, ATC

Kelsey Potts joined the AT staff at Flower Mound High School in 2022. She is a nationally certified and state licensed athletic trainer. Prior to this position, she worked for Ranchview High School as an athletic trainer, Physical Education instructor and Sports Medicine teacher. Kelsey graduated from Plano East High School in 2011 where she was a student in the athletic training program. She then went to Texas State University where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training and attained her teaching certification in Physical Education. From there, Kelsey moved to Columbia, SC where she attended the University of South Carolina and earned her Masters of Science degree. We are happy to have her as a member of the Jag Family.
