GHWCC SCHOLARSHIP

Due Date: March 31, 2021

Amount: $800

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Female student graduating from Aldine, Conroe, Fort Bend, Houston, Spring, or Spring Branch School District in Spring 2021

  • Must provide high school transcript. SAT/ACT scores optional. Request counselor to send transcript to info@ghwcc.org.

  • Must attend a Texas College

TCBSBM SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Due Date: March 31, 2021

Amount: $1000 - $3000

3 scholarships available

  • The Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson scholarship provides one-year scholarships for up to $1,000 to five African American students with average academic achievement and financial need working towards a community college degree, or trade school certification.

  • The TCBSBM / TASB 2021 Scholarship provides one-year scholarships for up to $3,000 to ten African American students with average academic achievement and financial need working towards a first year college degree. Some fields of consideration may include Business, Finance Management, Coding, Education, Technology, Engineering, or Marketing, Law or related fields.

  • TCBSBM in collaboration with Texas A&M-Commerce will pay the remaining balance on any tuition not covered by other financial assistance, provided the student applicant meets the criteria specified under the eligibility sections.

LOCKHEED MARTIN STEM SCHOLARSHIP

Due Date: April 1, 2021

Amount: $10,000

Eligibility Criteria:

Plans to attend a 4 year college or university full time to major in engineering, physics or computer science and demonstrate financial need and come from underrepresented or underserved communities.

TEACH SCHOLARSHIP

Due Date: April 1, 2021 (Completed application packet must be submitted to Mrs. Bailey by 3pm)

Amount: $1500

Eligibility

  • Senior graduating high school in May/June 2021

  • Plans to pursue a college degree

  • GPA of 3.0 +

FORD DRIVING DREAMS SCHOLARSHIP

Due Date: April 6, 2021

Amount: $2000

Eligibility:

    • Must be a graduating high school senior in the spring of 2021.

    • Must be a student planning to pursue full-time studies leading to a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university in the U.S.

    • Must have a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent.

SPRINGISD EDUCATION FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

Due Date: April 6, 2021 by 11:59pm

Amount: $500 - $2500

Andy Dekaney Memorial Scholarship ($1000) - Applicants must be a Dekaney High School graduating senior.

Brenda Green Memorial Scholarship ($500) - Applicants must be seniors planning to pursue careers in education.

Jeannie Shilling Hammer Scholarship ($1000) - Applicants must be seniors planning to enter the field of music education.

Rhonda Newhouse Scholarship ($1000) - Applicants must be graduating from a Spring ISD high school.

Rumph Family Scholarship ($500) - Applicants must be seniors planning to attend a HBCU (Historically Black College or University).

Spring ISD Education Foundation Scholarship ($1000) - Applicants must be graduating from a Spring ISD high school.

Spring Way Scholarship ($1000) - Applicants must have a parent or legal guardian who is a current Spring ISD employee.

Barbara Raye Sherman Secondary Educator Scholarship ($2500) - Applicants must be Dekaney High School seniors planning to pursue a career in secondary education (6th - 12th grades) and plan to become a teacher, counselor, coach or administrator.

Spring ISD Fun Run Scholarship ($1500) - Applicants must be seniors who have actively participated in community based organizations through their continuous service and volunteerism.

Wells Fargo Scholar Athlete Scholarship ($1000) - Applicants must be seniors who have participated and are presently in good standing in the Spring ISD athletics program (player, trainers & cheerleaders) and who have excelled in academics.
