To participate in Division I or II athletics as a college freshman, you must first register with the NCAA Clearinghouse.

Registration is a four step process:

  • Step 1: Complete online application. Go to eligibilitycenter.org to apply.

  • Step 2: Pay the application fee. The fee is $75 . If you participate in SISD's Free/Reduced Lunch program, you may qualify to waive the application fee. Once you complete the online application and click on "Request Fee Waiver", see Mrs. Bailey in the College Career Center.

  • Step 3: Send SAT and/or ACT scores directly to NCAA Clearinghouse. Use code 9999.

  • Step 4: Request to send official transcripts to their headquarters. If you have attended multiple high schools, you will need to send a transcript from each high school.

1st official transcript is to be sent anytime after your junior year (NCAA wants to see your courses/grades reflecting 6-semesters)

2nd official transcript is to be sent after graduation-

NAIA:
