Order of drafts, etc., for turning in:
1) Process Sheet labeled with name, class period, and "Persuasive Essay"
2) Self-evaluation Essay based on ESSAY RUBRIC
3) Drafts 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1
4) make sure that essay has been submitted to turnitin.com.
On Draft 5 mark the following with a pen:
1. Brackets around your five best sentences
2. Circle the five most interesting words (diction)
3. Underline your best transitional sentence
4. Number references on Works Cited page and then number them correspondingly in the text where they are cited.

2) Three interviews and your questions and notes from those interviews (75 daily points). Your interview notes are due on the day you present.
3) Presentation/slideshow: 10-12 minutes and 3 minute question/answer. No notes are to be used during the presentation (15%). Wear business attire or what is appropriate to your presentation. No blue jeans, hoodies, t-shirts, sandals, flip flops, tennis shoes, etc.
4) Presentation Self-Evaluation 700 words minimum, typed, MLA format. A paragraph on what you can improve on and another on what you think you excelled at. Due the class period after you present. The self-evaluation counts as the essay portion of your semester test.

College essay test general standards.
For the multiple choice section, study notes taken in class, reading packet, and all handouts, which would include the essays we read, writing process and drafts explanation, methods of development, punctuation basics, all main ideas and terms related to readings, notes taken in class, and ACT vocabulary, and know the basics of MLA citation, etc.
