ESSAY 1 OVERVIEW
-Epistemology-Learning Essay (15%): 1350-1550 words, 7 references, in-text citation and works cited page, MLA format, and use of several methods of development. 

Prompt: Explain your theory of knowledge and apply it to your own learning and skill development using specific examples to illustrate your claims and making reference to the articles "Say Goodbye to the Information Age" and "Dunning Kruger Effect" and "The Limits of Reason" and Apology (notes given in class). Those articles and notes will be 4 of the 7 references (minimum) you use in this essay.

Epistemology is defined as "the theory of knowledge, especially with regard to its methods, validity, and scope. Epistemology is the investigation of what distinguishes justified belief from opinion." I.e, How do you know what you think you know? Then apply that idea to your own development in some skill related area.

In this essay:

-Define knowledge
-Define skill

-Apply ideas about learning and skill to some activity that you have done
-Make connections with skill development in that area at a world class level 

-Use specific examples to support your points and illustrate them while applying concepts from CARS

-Reference ideas from the class readings, notes, discussion
