Martin Foundation Scholarships

The Martin Family Foundation provides scholarships to students who plan to transfer to UW Seattle.

Two scholarships are offered: The Martin Family Foundation Honors Scholarship Program and the Martin Achievement Scholarship Program.

Both scholarships award up to $12,000/year and are renewable for up to 3 years at UW Seattle (UWS).

Eligibility for the Martin Achievement Scholarship (MAS) requires that you have 1 year remaining at community college. MAS provides up $5,000 for that year and then is renewable at $12,000/year at UWS, contingent upon admission. The application deadline is in early April.

Martin Honors Scholarship (MHS) applicants are students who will attend UWS in Fall of the upcoming year or who were recently admitted to UWS and have will have earned no more than 18 credits at UW by the July deadline.

Both scholarships are competitive. Typically, between 3 and 4 scholars are selected to receive the MAS and between 2 and 4 for the MHS.
