ROME/BYZANTINE POSTER

You will be creating a poster combining that will compare and contrast the Roman and Byzantine Empires. You are required to have what your groups considers to be the FIVE most significant similarities and the FIVE most significant differences. There also needs to be a picture that represents each similarity and difference. (NOTE: your groups poster should have 10 total images, 5 similarities and 5 differences...perhaps in arrangement of a t-chart)

You must also answer the question whether The Byzantine Empire is an extension of Rome or a totally separate civilization. Please give it a TITLE and include your TEAM NAME. Place you name (or initials) next your work. If you don't YOU WILL NOT GET CREDIT.

You have 2 class periods to complete this task. It is due on Friday 3/13/20. On Tuesday you will present via an Information Exchange.

SIX LEVELS OF QUESTIONS POSTER

Each HFL team will be assigned a reading to research. Each group will then create their own questions about the information in the readings, AND provide answers to those questions. But these are not just any ordinary questions. The questions must be "leveled". There are Six Levels of Question, Rangoon from simple questions, to complex questions. The levels of questions are on the document below, and each level is assigned a point value (i.e., a Level 1 question is worth one point, a Level 4 question is worth four points, etc.) Each student on each team needs to ask AND ANSWER at least two questions that add up to a total of seven. (NOTE: Students should LABEL the questions so I can tell what level the question is and who answered it.)
