Job apprenticeship programs allow students to work full-time, then take necessary night classes to advance in their chosen field, e.g. electrician, plumbing, construction.
The Operating Engineers Local No. 841 Apprenticeship Program will be accepting applications for apprenticeships beginning Tuesday, January 3rd through Tuesday, January 31st.
To be eligible for Apprenticeship, the following basic requirements must be met:
A. At least 18 years of age
B. Physically able to perform the work of the trade
C. Have the reading, understanding, writing and communicating ability as would enable the applicant to perform the tasks of an Apprentice in a safe manner and comprehend the subject matter taught in related instructions.
D. Completion of high school or G.E.D Equivalency Certificate
E. Possess a current driver's license
F. Eligible to work in the United States
