Tips for writing a conclusion:
Restate your position/thesis or main idea in a new way (using synonyms)
Use a transitional phrases that bring closure to your essay (e.g., ultimately, in effect, as you can clearly see, as a result, etc.)
Make a final statement that provides a satisfying ending (quote, call to take action, etc.)
Makes a final point to convince the reader that the topic you wrote about is important and/or significant
Here's a sample concluding paragraph from the sample essay on Susan B. Anthony -
In conclusion, Susan B. Anthony’s long struggle to earn women the right to vote contributed greatly to the passage of the 19th Amendment, despite the fact she never lived to see its passage. She was a key figure in organizing groups that fought for these rights, and she helped write and spread the ideas she spelled out in the “Declaration of Sentiments and Resolutions for Women’s Rights.” The many hardships she endured, including getting arrested, make her one of the most important individuals in achieving rights for women and an inspiration to those who continue to fight for equality between men and women.
