Plot Story Curve
A simple way to think of a plot is SOMEBODY WANTED BUT SO.
Elements of a narrative's "plot."
Exposition - Background information and introduction of characters and setting
Rising Action - The events that move the story forward to the "climax." Events should involve a conflict, problem or struggle.
Climax - the "high point" or turning point in a story. In Crash, this is the moment when Crash yells to Penn to lean during the "race off" to determine who goes to the Penn Relays
Falling Action - The events that lead to the story's resolution of the conflict.
Resolution - This is essentially the "end" of the story or narrative. A good narrative will end with a catchy or thought-provoking ending. A good ending might also tie into the lead of narrative
