The Sponsored Research program provides support for the research and publication activities of scholars associated with the Pike Center.
Sponsored research is supported through a number of services which the Pike Center administers for its Fellows and Scholars:
Through the Small Grants program, participants may apply to the Pike Center for a small grant of funds from the Pike Center's general research fund. (See listing of grants awarded to date.) The program awards grants three times per year; the deadlines for submitting a letter of intent for each of the cycles are April 20, August 20, and December 20.
Through the Foundation Resourcing Service, the Pike Center helps scholars to draft concept papers about the research projects they want to pursue and then works as a broker to help find foundations that would be interested to receive a full proposal for the project.
Through the Individual Research Accounts system, the Pike Center gives individual researchers the ability to manage funds for their own research activities that have been awarded to them by Pike Center or that they have raised through donations, consulting fees, royalties, etc.
