Moazzem Begg

Moazzem Begg was indisposed and we were very fortunate to hear from Crofton Black researcher with Reprieve.

Crofton works as an investigator on the Secret Prisons team to gather information to support those who have been "disappeared" and detained without trial. Crofton Black studied English and Classics at Oxford University and completed a PhD in the history of philosophy in 2004. Since then he has worked as a freelance translator and researcher. In 2009 he was awarded a Humboldt Fellowship at the Freie Universität Berlin, working on the influence of Arabic and Hebrew philosophy on hermeneutic theory in early modern Europe.
