Phone:  610-670-0180 ext 1730

My career at Wilson School District began in August of 2001 when I was hired as the Certified School Nurse of Southern Junior High (now Southern Middle School) and Cornwall Terrace Elementary.

I am delighted to be here and would like to tell you a bit about me! I am the mother of three children - all grown, graduated from college and living on their own. The love of my life is Bill and we live in Wyomissing and share our home with a sweet 12 year old black labrador retriever named Lola Pearl. I love to travel, read wonderful books, cook and bake all types of cuisine, and spend time with family and friends.

I graduated from Allentown Hospital School of Nursing in 1976 and worked at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia until 1978. From there, I moved to New York City and worked at the NYU Medical Center until 1981 when I moved to Boston , Ma.. There, I worked part time at Beth Israel Hospital and BU Medical Center while attending Emmanuel College, where I received my BSN in 1983. In June of 1983, I moved to Berks County and worked as a full time Mom raising my three wonderful children. In 1998, I received my School Nurse Certificate from Kutztown University, while working part-time at Schuylkill Valley Elementary.

My first job as a Certified School Nurse was spent in Phoenixville where I was the nurse for the High School and the Schuylkill Elementary school and where I remained until I was hired by the Wilson School District in 2001. Since coming to Wilson, I received my M Ed from West Chester University and, in addition to my position here, enjoy working part time in the office of a local Dermatologist.

I am very fortunate to work with our part-time RN, Nadine Hartranft.
