The Writing Center’s goal is to encourage all  students in becoming stronger, more confident writers, so that they can communicate effectively in college and in their careers. This goal is accomplished through individualized sessions between students and staff members, as well as through workshops and resources provided by the Writing Center. 

The Writing Center also supports faculty and staff through discussing teaching strategies and assignments, providing resources for their use, doing in-class workshops, and giving advice on their own writing projects and on university initiatives.
