For this assignment, we will be in the STUDIO using BACKGROUND and HOT LIGHTS!
The way these work is by taking TWO photos, with the same lighting, and the same background.
The more things you keep the same, the easier the PS will be.
Set up the studio:
Black Background
Hot light to the side pointing toward the subject's face
No tripod needed, but the photographer needs to stay in the same spot
Take a photo of your subject against the black background leaving some space in the composition the left OR the right of the head.
This space will be used to place the second image.
Using the same set up, have the model move their face/ body directly facing directly toward the light.
Take the second image!
Do it again if you'd like to include more shots/poses!
Place the first image into PS.
Drag the second images ONTO the first image.
Click Command + T to resize the second/other images.
Click on the LAYER of the SECOND image.
ADD a mask. So you just Click on the mask icon.
Click on the paint brush tool.
Select the color black.
Make your brush 0 hardness.
Begin painting around the EDGES second image!

Matching or thematic
The cheesier the better!
Crop out any studio evidence
2. If they are too dark or light, adjust the exposure in PS!
Submit as individual images on Canvas, not on a digital handout.
