Week 6
Day #1
Look at Goals and resolutions set a few weeks ago. Also consider the "why" from last semester. Give yourself a grade on each. Listen to MWF Podcast about Clarity, Belief and Accountability. Meet with AVID teams and give suggestions to each other on consistent habits they can do to make each goal easier. Fill out My Tough Classes and work together in AVID Team to fill in the "Habit" section.
Day #2
Four-Year Plan with Tammy. Students look at course offerings and plan what they might take the next few years.
Day #3
Students look at their survey results from the AP classes and learn how to create charts in google slides.
Begin preparing presentation.
Week 7
Short block week
Day #1
Work with laptops on presentations.
Day #2
Block Period - Finish preparation and check in with students
Week 8
Day #1
Assign Vocab
Begin Presentations
Day #2
Continue Presentations
Day #3
Finish Presentations
Rank classes in order of preference, reflect on presentation skills on which you improved, and vote for best presentation.
If time, do a pop binder check and work on flash cards or backwards planning.
