2015-16 SCES Teacher of the Year selection

The Elementary School Teacher of the Year is Mrs.Michelle Wingertsahn. Mrs. Michelle Wingertsahn is married to Reverend Michael Wingertsahn of Donalsonville, Georgia, where they pastor the First Baptist Church of Donalsonville. They have three children, Nathan, Anna Marie, and Carlee, who attend the Seminole County School System. Mrs. Wingertsahn is in her second year teaching third grade at SCES. Mrs. Wingertsahn served in several long term substitute positions prior to being hired full time. She has taught a variety of grade levels prior to coming to Donalsonville. Dr. Pierce states "Mrs. Wingertsahn is an extraordinary teacher who is willing to go above and beyond in order for her student to be successful. She and her family are an asset to the community."
