Google Classroom Resources
If you are going to organize your classroom in one way to manage sharing Google Docs, Sheets, Presentations, Drawings, and others, Google Classroom is the way to go. Google Classroom will provide a way to more easily manage the sharing and organization of documents with students. What is nice about Google Classroom is its simplicity.
I would encourage you to explore Google Classroom. Additionally, the more of us that adopt Google Classroom as the gateway to sharing digital content with students, the easier it will be for students. However, Google Classroom does not interface with Pearson or ProgressBook.

Google for Education Training Center
This is a fantastic resource created by Google for educators, like us. The Training Center has "Fundamentals Training", "Advanced Training", "Device Training", and even "Trainer Training".
Check it out.
Google Classroom makes it easy for teachers to assign and grade student work, and for students to submit their work electronically, by handling all of the sharing for you.
