Sentinel Secondary School offers premier music instruction in a wide range of vocal and instrumental ensembles. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or experienced player, there is an ensemble for you. You will find detailed information on each course by selecting them on the left side of this page, including instrumentation and expectations.

We are currently raising funds for a set of Yamaha YCH6018TS Chimes. Orchestral chimes are an essential part of the percussion section, used in Orchestra, Band 8 and Concert Band settings.
In the most recent years, your contributions have helped us to purchase essential sound equipment for Jazz and RnB Bands, recording equipment for all groups, and musicians' posture chairs for the Music room. Thank you for all your support!
Gold Award Winner
Congratulations to the Tour Jazz of 2023 for earning a Gold Award at the Whistler Con Brio Music Festival. A Sentinel historic first!
Silver Award Winner
The Sentinel Tour Band of 2023 earned a Silver Award at the Whistler Con Brio Music Festival. Go spartans!
3rd Place in Canada
The Sentinel RnB Band of 2023 earned a 3rd Place in the Canadian Music Class Challenge in the Senior Vocal category this year. This was Sentinel's first ever entry.
