A résumé is a one-page personal information sheet summarizing your experiences, qualifications, and special skills. There are many styles of résumés. Your teacher can provide you with various examples.
Ideally, your résumé is a living document. You should start it in your sophomore year and update it every year.
Make sure you do not have your address on your résumé. This is going on the internet.
Some examples/templates have been included here. If you look at our sample, you will see a note about not including your address. This is good advice. Please do not include your address.
