Pinkerton Academy 8th Grade Preview Night
What Can Be Expected at Pinkerton Academy?
January 7th, 2025 (live stream, recorded, and in-person)
6:00 p.m.
Stockbridge Theatre – Arts and Humanities Building
Parents/Guardians and future Pinkerton students are invited to attend (or view) an orientation meeting at the
Academy which will present the course selection process and provide a preview of Pinkerton’s academic and
extracurricular programs. This event will be live-streamed on Pinkerton Academy's YouTube channel. The
recording will be posted there and on this portion of the Pinkerton website after the event. The snow date for
this event will be January 14th, 2025.
Pinkerton Academy 8th Grade Course Night
What Courses Should I Take at Pinkerton Academy?
January 16, 2025, 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Academy Building (snow date is 1/23)
Course Night is an event where parents/guardians and future Pinkerton students will be able to talk directly
with Pinkerton teachers about the courses and levels they should select so that they can achieve their future
goals after high school. School counselors will also be available to meet with families. Special Education staff
will be giving a presentation from 6:30-7:15 p.m. on Pinkerton’s Special Education Programs and the process
for transitioning special education services to Pinkerton. More information will be available shortly on our
website. The snow date for this event is January 23rd, 2025.
Pinkerton Academy 8th Grade Electives Information Day
January 27th, 2025, 9:15 am-1:25 pm (bus arrival @ approx. 9:00 am)
During a day in late January, students are invited to talk directly with other students about their experiences in
the areas of CTE, Junior ROTC, the Arts, and World Languages. Students will move through these three
programs during the school day. Middle schools will arrange buses for their students to and from this event.
Parents/guardians of tuition/homeschool students should contact Rosa Matos at
rmatos@pinkertonacademy.org or at (603) 437-5200 x 1265. Students are to bring their own bagged lunch.
Pinkerton will provide snacks and water.
