Want or Need to Talk?

Do you want to talk to someone about something going on in your life? Do you have a friend that needs help and you want to talk to someone about it? Do you need help with a class or having a conversation with a teacher? 

You have come to the right place!  As your school counselors we want you to know that you can talk to us about anything!

As school counselors, our mission is to help all students in the areas of academic achievement, personal/social development and career development, ensuring today's students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow.

School counselors can give you all sorts of tips and support on solving problems and making good decisions. Chances are that whatever problem you have, your counselor has seen it before and has lots of good advice on how to help you work through it. Counselors can give you tips on standing up for yourself if you're being bullied, managing stress, talking to your parents, and dealing with anger and other difficult moods. Counselors also can advise you on problems you may have with a teacher, such as communication difficulties or questions over grades.

Counselors will respect a student's privacy unless matters discussed pertain to harm of self or another person, matters discussed pertain to abuse, there is a legal requirement for disclosure, or there is a necessity to consult with other professionals.

  • Williamson County Crisis Center: 512-255-1212 or (800) 460-SAFE - counsels victims of domestic violence and sexual assault
