The STAAR EOC assessments test students for college readiness and mastery of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for each course. The end-of-course assessments only assess the TEKS for a given course. STAAR is timed, giving students up to four or five hours to complete each exam.
EOC Exams are a graduation requirement. High School students are required to demonstrate mastery on five EOC Exams: Algebra I, English I, Biology, English II, and US History. Students will test the year they are enrolled in each of these courses.

Students will receive an individualized email from McNeil Testing with their test day information. This email will let students know which window(s) they will test, test(s) required, and all logistical information needed for that day.
Week of December 2-5th, 2025: Students who were enrolled in an EOC course during the 2023-2024 school year but did not test and those who have not yet demonstrated mastery will test during this window.
