AP Exams
What is it?
Advanced Placement Exams are available for all McNeil High School students. These exams are offered through College Board and are administered by McNeil High School. AP Exams provide students to demonstrate college level knowledge and receive college credit based on their score.

HERE is a video walking you through how to sign up for your AP exam. It is being done by the CTC at Stony Point High School, so please know the links, course codes, and deadlines will be different. Feel free to use the McNeil registration links and follow along with the video.
**Note, there are required College Board fees or AP Exams. If you qualify for financial assistance, or would like to learn more about financial assistance, please see the Financial Assistance page HERE .
Who can test?
Students enrolled in an AP course are able to register for the AP Exam. Students will receive registration information and a Join Code from their teacher at the beginning of the school year.
Students who are not enrolled in an AP course, but would like to self-study and take an AP exam may also register. Students who are NOT enrolled at McNeil High School (Homeschool students) who would like to take an AP Exam through McNeil should email the testing office at McNeil_Testing@roundrockisd.org, the Campus Testing Coordinator Nicole Bowden at Nicole_Bowden@roundrockisd.org, or Assistant Principal Jeremy Thompson at Jeremy_Thompson@roundrockisd.org for information on on Exam Only registration and Join Codes.

Deadline to register without late fees is October 1, 2023.
To cancel an AP Exam:
Log back into Total Registration and request your exam to be cancelled (click here)
