Curriculum is a design PLAN for learning that requires the purposeful and proactive organization, sequencing, and management of the interactions among the teacher, the students, and the content knowledge we want students to acquire.
In this section we will look at varies curriculum models that can work to engage our gifted learners. Gifted students are creative, curious, and in this day and time very connected to what is going on around them. These students hold such great potential to be future leaders in our world. Gifted students love a challenge so we need to ensure that the curriculum they are being taught is meeting their academic and social needs. We must work to stretch our gifted students so that they can be competitive in this 21st century.
