A little about me...
Welcome! I am very excited to be working with you and your student this school year! I work daily to inspire, motivate, and challenge our AIG students here at Williamsburg. I am thankful that I am able to share my excitement for learning everyday with children!
I am excited to be starting my 25th year in education! I taught grades 2-5 in Guilford County my first 22 years. Two years ago I joined the Rockingham County School and Williamsburg families as a 5th grade teacher. I was blessed with the opportunity to take on the role of the Instructional Coach at Williamsburg last year. My undergraduate degree is from the University of NC at Greensboro in Elementary Education and have my AIG certification.
I live in Guilford County with my husband Shane, who is in packaging sales. We have three children, Jacob who is 23, works full time as a recruiter for an in-home health care provider, and is in school full time for HR/Business Management, Elle who is 19 and working full time in retail, and Hannah who is 17 and is a senior at Rockingham County High School. We have a dog named Jalah and 3 cats, Luna, Honey, and Willow.
During my time outside of the school system, I enjoy spending time with my family, live music, reading, puzzles, and spending time in the mountains.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at school anytime.
