COURSE DESCRIPTION:
An introduction to welding with emphases on safety and hands on work including student projects using “stick” and MIG welding procedures along with oxy-acetylene welding and cutting and plasma cutting. This course will provide the student with a basic understanding of welding and the processes used in today's industries.

In order to pass this class, students will be expected to:
- Be in attendance. As a laboratory course, attendance is necessary to gain knowledge and skills needed for an appropriate understanding.
- Ask questions if having problems
- Work while in class

CLASSROOM AND LAB RULES
