COURSE DESCRIPTION:

CAD class is to provide students with the basic knowledge and understanding of CAD operations and architectural drawings. Using AutoCAD 2011 students will learn the fundamental skills and concepts necessary for planning, designing, and drawing. Its main thrust is to show students how to prepare a working set of floor plans.

In order to pass this class, students will be expected to:

- Be in attendance. As a laboratory course, attendance is necessary to gain knowledge and skills needed for an appropriate understanding.

- Ask questions if having problems

- Complete all drawings

- Work while in class

GRADING:

CLASSROOM AND LAB RULES

1) Respect others around you and the classroom equipment.

2) Be on time and in class.

3) Be prepared, and bring all classroom materials with you.

4) All papers turned in must have your name and assignment on them.

5) Use computer properly.

Make-up Work:

It is your responsibility to come in before or after school to complete drawings.
