Seventh grade Industrial Tech is a hands-on class. This course is an introduction to engineering, where the goal is to design, build and test bridges. Students will use a variety of methods to accomplish this; K’nex, balsa wood, popsicle sticks and West Point Bridge Designer Software. This will be accomplished by individual and group assignments/projects. All safety precautions will be taught before student may use a machine.

Late Work:
Late work will be accepted ONE day after the due date with a possibility of half the points. Any work turned in after, will receive a zero for that assignment. Due dates will be told in class and written on the board.
Absent From Class:
If you are absent from class, it is your responsibility to get your missed work. You will have 2 days to complete and turn in your homework. To complete this you may have to come in before or after school due to assignments being on the computer.
Grading Scale:
A 100-94 C 79-77
A- 93-92 C- 76-74
B+ 91-89 D+ 73-72
B 88-86 D 71-70
B- 85-83 D- 69-68
C+ 82-80 F 67-0
3 pts possible per day for daily participation

- Proper Clothing (if we go in the shop)

6) Come to class with all needed material.
7) NO CELL PHONES!!
8) Students will obey all district and school rules.
