My goal is to enrich students with the skills necessary to be productive members of society. As we focus on the future of the 21st century, all three of my classes help develop the mindset and tools that are needed in both high school and beyond. We feel global awareness and financial literacy are essential skills for everyone to learn. With technology improving on a daily basis and the world becoming more accessible and advanced, the skill of becoming bilingual and trilingual becomes even more essential. The global economy is becoming more competitive, thus, we stress the importance and relevance of cultural awareness, diversity, and the skill sets associated with learning second languages. We are the only middle school in the consortium that offers multiple languages to our students. Together, we are committed to the idea that all students can have success with a second language, and we will continue to strive to ensure that all of our students can be functioning members and financially knowledgeable in a global society.
