Mr. Rob Rock joined the Richmond staff in 2000.
Currently, I am teaching 6th Grade: ELA, math, and Rube Goldberg elective.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from UW-Milwaukee and a Master of Science in Education (M.S.E.) Degree in Reading from UW-Whitewater.
I previously taught in Milwaukee Public Schools from 1996-1999.
In ELA, we incorporate a balanced literacy approach which includes: reading, writing, word study, and listening and speaking. Our math class utilizes the Big Idea Math series aligned to Common Core Curriculum. The Rube Goldberg elective is designed for students to deliberately over-engineer machines that perform simple tasks in very complex fashions.
