PVUSD aims to make the Advanced Placement (AP) exams as accessible as possible for all students who wish to attend college. Therefore, our district has elected to utilize program funding through the College Credit by Examination Incentive Program and through a Title-IV A grant to reduce the costs of all AP tests this year.
EXAM COSTS:
The cost of the exam will be $62.00 per exam. - A $37 savings due to PVSchools using College Credit by Examination funding to support the reduction of test fees

The cost of the AP Capstone Seminar and AP Capstone Research will be $110.00.
The cost of the exam for students on Free/Reduced lunch will be $0 per exam. - To apply for Free/Reduced Lunch, visit ezmealapp.com. Call (602) 449-2274 to ask for status or a copy of the already approved letter.
REGISTRATION WINDOW CLOSED:
The registration window for all AP students is September 23rd - November 3rd. - The deadline to register for the AP Exam is November 3rd, 2024.
All Exams ordered after the deadline will be assessed a $40 late fee. - A canceled exam will incur a $40 deduction from the student's reimbursement. (*see tax credit)

REGISTRATION STEPS:
STEP ONE: Join your MyAP College Board classroom with the Join Code your AP teacher gave you. If already completed, move to Step Two.
STEP TWO: Payment - Options for payment: - Tax Credit - explained on reverse side - Non Tax Credit - explained on reverse side - Free/Reduced Lunch - send district approval letter to cwillittes@pvlearners.net Deadline for payment in full - November 3rd, 2024 (see reverse side for additional information) Deadline for payment in full - November 3rd, 2024 The exam fees must be paid in full at the Pinnacle bookstore or through the school’s website.
*There are two options when paying test fees, payment by Tax Credit and payment by Non-Tax Credit.
Option 1: AP Testing Tax Credit - You can pay AP testing fees as a Tax Credit. AP Testing Fees paid by Tax Credits are NON REFUNDABLE. Please be sure you have completed your AP Test registration on the College Board before paying for your tests. Please be sure to print your receipt (if paying on the Webstore) for your Taxes. *Please note: If you pay AP testing as Tax Credit you will forfeit any possibility for a refund due to a circumstance such as a canceled exam.
Option 2: AP Testing NON Tax Credit - AP Testing fees can be paid as a NON-Tax Credit fee. Please be sure to complete your AP Test registration on the College Board before paying for AP Tests. Canceled tests will be subject to College Board assessed fee of $40.
