Credit or Grade Recovery Options

Besides students attending Summer School, below are three additional options available during the school year to assist students with making up those short credits that are needed for graduation or to improve that poor grade they may have received.

After School PVOnline Program

Students will be allowed to take Online Courses After School through PVOnline. These off campus after school courses can be used to make up missing credits for graduation or to earn a better grade in a course. These online courses are free to juniors and seniors (cost to freshmen and sophomores is $199.00 per course). Students are only allowed to take one (1) PVOnline Course per semester off campus and can earn an additional .5 credit each semester. These courses can only be taken through PVOnline. 

Sweetwater Night School Program

Sweetwater High School offers 2 sessions of Night School Courses each quarter Monday - Friday. The sessions are from 5:00-6:15 and 6:23-7:40. This program allows students that are short or missing graduation credits to get caught up. Students earn an additional .5 credit for each course taken and can earn up to 1 credit per quarter by taking a course in both sessions each day.
