ACT Testing

The ACT assessment has been selected by the state and districts, as the state assessment test for all Junior high school students.  The ACT measures a student's skills in five core areas:  English, Math, Reading, Science, and Writing.  The ACT is designed to provide schools and districts with the data necessary to position students for success after high school. The ACT also provides high quality, nationally recognized college entrance exams to all junior high school students at no cost to the students or the schools, while measuring students' college and career readiness.

LOCATION: PHS (ROOMS ASSIGNED IN MARCH)

Changes to the ACT Test 

ACT TEST COMPONENTS

English 35 Minutes/50 Questions - Math 50 Minutes/45 Questions

Reading 40 Minutes/36 Questions - Science 40 Minutes/40 Questions

Writing 40 minutes (1 Essay)

ACT DAY OF TEST

Busses will run on the normal schedule

Check in at assigned classroom at 7:30am

MUST Bring the following:

Charged School Issued Laptop

School ID 

Pencils 

Approved Calculator  (Extra Batteries)

Snacks, Lunch, and Water 

NOTE: Cell Phones and other Similar Devices MUST BE TURNED COMPLETELY OFF DURING THE ENTIRETY of TESTING!  (unless noted medical condition)

ACT BOOTCAMP (DISCOUNT CODE BELOW)
