Bella Opperman - Class of 2027
"Through this door pass many friends of the FFA. It is my duty to see that the door is open to our friends at all times and that they are welcome. I care for the meeting room and paraphernalia. I strive to keep the room comfortable and assist the president in maintaining order."
My name is Bella Opperman, and I am honored to serve as one of your FFA officers for the 2025-2026 chapter. Outside of FFA, I am involved in various activities. I work after school at a small dairy farm where I milk about 80 cows, feed them, and care for their overall well-being. Additionally, I work at a stable in Shawano, where I take care of all the horses. My responsibilities include cleaning stalls and pens, feeding, watering, and exercising the horses. Sometimes, I even conduct lessons. In the summer, I participate in shows where I focus on western showmanship and halter. When I’m not working, I often help my grandpa at his three-generation farm. This work usually involves yard maintenance, construction, taking care of his beef cattle, mechanics, or any other tasks he needs assistance with. Working on three farms has provided me with valuable skills that will prepare me for my future as a large animal or equine veterinarian. I plan to continue my education at UW River Falls and Madison, with the potential to move out west afterward. I believe I am a dedicated worker who is always willing to assist others. I am proud to serve as your Sentinel this year in FFA and look forward to contributing to our chapter’s success.
