"Tradition and history are a source of pride for our organization. It is my duty to maintain a record of chapter achievements and promote excellence through highlighting activities, events and accomplishments so that our chapter membership is motivated by our past successes and looks to future achievements."
Hello! My name is Miranda Seitz, and I am thrilled to serve as your Historian for the 2025-2026 year. Some things about me are that I am an active participant in my local county fair, showcasing nearly every species available, with a particular fondness for dairy cattle and goats. Growing up on a small hobby farm, I had the opportunity to care for a variety of animals, including steers, pigs, goats, and sheep. Over the past three years, I've dedicated myself to breeding Boer goats and currently have two breeding does. Throughout the summer, I exhibited my animals at both the Oconto County Fair and the Wisconsin State Fair. Outside of livestock showing, I spend my weekends working at Laney Cheese and after school, I help feed calves at Sievert Dairy farm. I have also thoroughly enjoyed competing in FFA events, particularly in the Creed speaking contest and the Veterinary Career Development Event (CDE), which have helped me develop my public speaking and critical thinking skills. My Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) is focused on goat production, allowing me to apply my knowledge and passion for raising goats in a practical setting. I love engaging with others about all things related to agriculture, and I also have a love for baking, which offers a creative outlet for me. As an officer this year, I am eager to meet new people and work collaboratively to help others find their place in FFA. I believe that by sharing our experiences and learning from one another, we can all grow and thrive together in this amazing organization.
